A 180D (W120) originally built in 1959 painstakingly restored by a dedicated enthusiast in Normandy, France.


One of the early automotive applications of the OM 636 diesel engine was in the legendary Ponton 180D that was built between 1953 and 1962. A total of 152,983 were produced. It gained an excellent reputation for economy and reliability especially with taxi owners who boasted a sober fuel consumption of 8 l. /100 Km.
